About Ms Helen's Soul Bistro LLC

Ms. Helen Coleman first set up shop in 1971 in the Seattle Central area on East Union & 23rd Ave, serving up her signature fried pork chops, oxtails, collard greens and butter-slathered corn cakes.

For over 3 decades Helen’s Diner was the place to be for great food & even better vibes which made Ms. Helen’s place of business a cornerstone of an electric & deeply cultured piece of Seattle. It was always a place to satisfy your craving for home-style, classic, “comfort soul food”.

We are humbled & grateful beyond words to continue our family legacy here in our beautiful home of Seattle & we fully intend to “Get people back in this neighborhood, eating soul food.”

We are currently offering catering and private chef experiences, just simply stop by our website to inquire!
