About SoulXpresshuns

I Am a focused African American Artist. I create Art that flows from Our African consciousness. God has blessed me with the dexterity to translate visual sensations into astonishing paper and canvas illustrations, with Pen & Ink with colored pencils and pastels to express distinctive themes with subtle messages. I believe it is important to create Art that uplifts my viewers. I try to capture the essence of life in a way that is fresh and unique in Our past and everyday experiences, celebrating and honoring it. I believe I was born an Artist, I love expressing myself through my work, I’m humbled by the creative process and how it offers me the chance to connect to something bigger than myself. I realized that I could escape into my Art as well as express what I felt in my self. I felt that I could escape into my Art as well as express what I felt in my soul. I craft inventive compositions that are said to excite the eye, rivet the mind, capture the heart and shock the soul…
I have canvas prints and Wearable Art… my Wearable Art isn’t just a piece of cotton. Wearable Art is a symbol of an attitude, the ink that is rendered into the basic fabric, will outlast the cultural or historical moment that gave it life. It’s not just a shirt you’re buying, it’s Art…A piece of History…and a Statement of identity all at once…

Preserving, maintaining, connecting, and building communities of the African Diaspora. Empowering the community that embodies the culture. Teaching the history, creating programs for success, connecting community to opportunities, and building a vision for the future.
