About Rooted in the Central District
We sell items, provide services, and host events devoted to the MENTAL, PHYSICAL & SPIRITUAL HEALTH of Black, African-American and other people of color. The majority of products in our shop are created by the community: jewelry, accessories, apparel, health, beauty and wellness, and locally-made art. In our community space, we offer workshops, meetings and other events that build unity and networks of support through conversation, art-making, knowledge-sharing and inspiration.
